Row of 8 'half-relief' red brick houses of the two-up two-down variety from the Metcalffe series. Added refinements include curtains or blinds to every window, drainpipes, wall ties and strengtheners, fencing with full yard/garden facilities, people and dogs.

Immediately to the rear is the fuel and stabling point for the Deltics. Both 'Alycidon' and 'Tulyar' can be seen awaiting fuel.

A detail from the 'row of houses'. You can just make out the builder doing some pointwork utilising a scaffold setup in the entry . The yard is full of builders material.
Electric lights are present in the houses for nighttime viewing.

A rather crowded bus garage with buses from the former Birmingham City Transport in the livery that looked so good , primrose and dark blue.
The Leyland Atlantean (on the 43 route) were the first of the so-called 'new' busses.
